Privacy Policy

EffectMatrix Software is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect your personal information only for defined purposes and do not distribute or share it beyond what is strictly necessary to fulfill our obligations to you.

What information do we collect?

When you place an order on our website, we require your full name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card number, and credit card expiration date. The information is used to complete the transaction and help us provide better support and services to you.

How do third-party credit card processors protect customer information?

EffectMatrix Software uses a secure server hosted by Stripe that encrypts all customer personal information before it is sent to us, including name, address, credit card number, and expiration date. Encryption prevents any malicious use of your personal information. Your credit card information is used only for the online transaction.

Stripe

Stripe is an advanced, secure online payment service for software registration. EffectMatrix Software uses Stripe to provide you with very secure and fast online purchases.

About cookies

To better understand which services are valuable to our customers, we use "cookies". A cookie is a small text file that a website writes to your hard drive. Cookies let the web server know that you have returned to this site and can determine other information, such as daily visitors and the most frequently visited pages. Cookies are unique and can only be read by the server that assigns them; they cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.

Google advertising cookies

Google uses cookies to serve ads on its partners' websites. When users visit a Google partner's website, a cookie may be dropped on the end user's browser. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

If you have not opted out of third-party ad serving, cookies from other third-party vendors or ad networks may also be used to serve ads on our site, which should also be disclosed.

Super Vectorizer App Privacy Notice (macOS, iOS & iPadOS)

This section applies to the Super Vectorizer app distributed on the Mac App Store and the iOS / iPadOS App Store. For the website and online store, see the sections above.

Data processed on your device — we do not collect it

Super Vectorizer performs image tracing and vectorization entirely on your device. The photos, images, and files you open in the app are processed locally and are never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted to third parties, and never stored by us. We do not have access to, and cannot see, the content you convert.

We do not collect personal information through the app

The app does not require an account to function. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data through the app, and we do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs that would collect personal information.

In-App Purchases

If you purchase through the App Store, the transaction is handled by Apple. Apple collects and processes the payment information; we only receive the order confirmation necessary to fulfill your license. For purchases made on our website, see the payment section above.

Crash and diagnostic data

If a crash occurs, the operating system may collect anonymous diagnostic and crash logs only with your consent (managed in your device's privacy settings). These logs are associated with your device only by Apple and are not linked to your identity by us.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on your region (for example the GDPR in the EEA and UK, and the CCPA/CPRA in California), you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@effectmatrix.com.
